Location: sunny, protected from strong winds. In a shady place, there will be much less flowering. 

Dahlia plants are planted at the same depth as they grew in the pot or 2-3 cm deeper if you want the roots to develop more. The soil should be rich in nutrients, sufficiently moist, but not wet. 

If the soil was not previously improved, then add compost, biohumus or decomposed manure to the dahlia planting hole. Fertilize dahlias regularly so that they grow strong and bloom profusely. 

Water these flowers moderately. Mulch with wood chip mulch, hay or mowed grass. Mulching helps retain moisture and reduces the frequency of watering.
